Cacao is a tropical tree native to central and south America. It’s Fruit is the best known as the main ingredient in chocolate, though it is incresingly being consumed for its nutritional value in combination with its taste. The green pods home to the cacao seeds are hand picked, the flesh allowed to ferment giving the cacao its unique flavour profile. The beans are then broken into small pieces, known as nibs.


Rich in Iron, Potassium and Manganese.
